English translation

[308] 181 - (...) Wahb bin Jarīr narrated: "My father narrated to us, saying: 'I heard Al-Hasan say: 'Jundab bin 'Abdullāh Al-Bajalī narrated to us in this Masjid, and we have not forgotten, and we do not fear that [Jundab] was telling lies about the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ. He said: 'The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: 'A man among those who came before you was afflicted with a boil,'" and he narrated a similar Hadīth (no. 307).

181 - (113) وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْحَسَنَ، يَقُولُ: حَدَّثَنَا جُنْدَبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْبَجَلِيُّ فِي هَذَا الْمَسْجِدِ، فَمَا نَسِينَا، وَمَا نَخْشَى أَنْ يَكُونَ كَذَبَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " خَرَجَ بِرَجُلٍ فِيمَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَكُمْ خُرَّاجٌ، فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ
