English translation

[3126] 300 - (1293) It was narrated that 'Ubaidullâh bin Abî Yazîd said: "I heard Ibn 'Abbâs say: 'The Messenger of Allâh ﷺ sent me with the luggage' - or he said: 'with the weak ones' - from Jam' (Al-Muzdalifah) at night."

300 - (1293) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، وَقُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، جَمِيعًا عَنْ حَمَّادٍ، قَالَ يَحْيَى: أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي يَزِيدَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، يَقُولُ: «بَعَثَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الثَّقَلِ - أَوْ قَالَ فِي الضَّعَفَةِ - مِنْ جَمْعٍ بِلَيْلٍ»
