English translation

[3156] 327 - (1306) It was narrated that 'Abdullāh bin 'Amr bin Al-'Āṣ said: "During the Farewell Pilgrimage, the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ stopped in Minā and the people asked him questions. A man came and said: 'O Messenger of Allāh, I didn't realize and I shaved my head before offering the sacrifice.' He said: 'Offer your sacrifice, it doesn't matter.' Then another man came and said: 'O Messenger of Allāh, I didn't realize and I offered my sacrifice before stoning the Jamrah.' He said: 'Stone it, it doesn't matter.'" He said: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ was not asked about anything that was done sooner or later, but he said: 'Do it, it doesn't matter.'"

٣٢٧ - (١٣٠٦) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى. قَالَ: قرأت على مالك عن ابن شهاب، عن عِيسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ. قال: وَقَفَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ، بِمِنًى، لِلنَّاسِ يَسْأَلُونَهُ. فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ! لَمْ أَشْعُرْ، فَحَلَقْتُ قَبْلَ أَنْ أَنْحَرَ. فَقَالَ "اذْبَحْ وَلَا حَرَجَ" ثُمَّ جَاءَهُ رَجُلٌ آخَرُ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ! لَمْ أَشْعُرْ فَنَحَرْتُ قَبْلَ أَنْ أَرْمِيَ. فَقَالَ "ارْمِ وَلَا حَرَجَ". قَالَ: فَمَا سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ شَيْءٍ قُدِّمَ وَلَا أُخِّرَ، إِلَّا قَالَ "افْعَلْ وَلَا حَرَجَ".
