English translation
[3309] 451 - (1358) It was narrated from Jâbir bin 'Abdullâh Al-Anshârî that the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ entered Makkah - Qutaibah said: he entered on the Day of the Conquest of Makkah - wearing a black turban and not in Ihram.

451 - (1358) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى التَّمِيمِيُّ، وَقُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الثَّقَفِيُّ، قَالَ يَحْيَى: أَخْبَرَنَا، وقَالَ قُتَيْبَةُ: حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ الدُّهْنِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ مَكَّةَ - وَقَالَ قُتَيْبَةُ: دَخَلَ يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ - وَعَلَيْهِ عِمَامَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ بِغَيْرِ إِحْرَامٍ "، وَفِي رِوَايَةِ قُتَيْبَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ
