English translation
[3357] 491 - (1385) It was narrated that Jâbir bin Samurah said: "I heard the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ say: 'Allāh [Most High] called Al-Madīnah Tâbah.'"

491 - (1385) وحَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، وَهَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ، وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، قَالُوا: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «إِنَّ اللهَ تَعَالَى سَمَّى الْمَدِينَةَ طَابَةَ»
