It was narrated that Abū Sa‘eed Al-Khudrī said: “Mention of ‘Azl was made to the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ and he said: ‘Why would one of you do that?’ - but he did not say, one of you should not do that - ‘There is no soul that is meant to be created but Allāh will definitely create it.’”
132 - (1438) حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ، قَالَ ابْنُ عَبْدَةَ: أَخْبَرَنَا، وقَالَ عُبَيْدُ اللهِ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيح، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ قَزْعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ: ذُكِرَ الْعَزْلُ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: " وَلِمَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ أَحَدُكُمْ؟ - وَلَمْ يَقُلْ: فَلَا يَفْعَلْ ذَلِكَ أَحَدُكُمْ - فَإِنَّهُ لَيْسَتْ نَفْسٌ مَخْلُوقَةٌ إِلَّا اللهُ خَالِقُهَا "
