English translation
[3684] 24 - (1477) It was narrated that Masrûq said: "‘Āishah said: ‘The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ gave us the choice but we did not count it as a divorce.'"

24 - (1477) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى التَّمِيمِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْثَرٌ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، قَالَ: قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ: «قَدْ خَيَّرَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَلَمْ نَعُدَّهُ طَلَاقًا»
