[3699] (...) It was narrated that Abû Salamah said: “I asked Fâtimah bint Qais, and she told me that her Makhzûmî husband divorced her and refused to give her any maintenance. She went to the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ and told him, and the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ said: ‘You are not entitled to any maintenance. Go and stay with Ibn Umm Maktûm, for he is a blind man and you can take off your garments there.’”
(1480) حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ أَبِي أَنَسٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتَ قَيْسٍ، فَأَخْبَرَتْنِي أَنَّ زَوْجَهَا الْمَخْزُومِيَّ طَلَّقَهَا، فَأَبَى أَنْ يُنْفِقَ عَلَيْهَا، فَجَاءَتْ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَأَخْبَرَتْهُ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا نَفَقَةَ لَكِ، فَانْتَقِلِي فَاذْهَبِي إِلَى ابْنِ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ، فَكُونِي عِنْدَهُ، فَإِنَّهُ رَجُلٌ أَعْمَى تَضَعِينَ ثِيَابَكِ عِنْدَهُ»
