English translation
[4058] 78 - (1585) It was narrated from 'Uthmân bin 'Affân that the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ said: "Do not sell one Dînâr for two Dînâr, or one Dirham for two Dirham."

٧٨ - (١٥٨٥) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ، وَهَارُونُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَيْلِيُّ، وأحمد بن عيسى. قَالُوا: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ. أَخْبَرَنِي مَخْرَمَةُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ. قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنَ يَسَارٍ يَقُولُ: إِنَّهُ سَمِعَ مَالِكَ بْنَ أَبِي عَامِرٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ؛ إن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ (لَا تَبِيعُوا الدِّينَارَ بِالدِّينَارَيْنِ. وَلَا الدِّرْهَمَ بالدرهمين).
