English translation
[4125] 131 - (1606) It was narrated from Ibn Al-Mûsâyyab that Abû Hurairah said: “I heard the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ say: 'Swearing helps one to sell the goods but it erases (the blessing of) the profit.'"

١٣١ - (١٦٠٦) حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ. حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو صَفْوَانَ الْأُمَوِيُّ. ح وحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ وَحَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى. قَالَا: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ. كِلَاهُمَا عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ؛ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ (الْحَلِفُ مَنْفَقَةٌ لِلسِّلْعَةِ. ممحقة للربح).
