[4426] (...) A Hadîth like that of Ibn Ja'far (no. 4425) was narrated from Jâbir bin Samurah from the Prophet ﷺ. Shabâbah agreed with his saying: he turned him away twice. "In the Hadîth of Abû 'Âmir it says: "He (ﷺ) turned him away two or three times."
(1692) - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا شَبَابةُ، ح وحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ الْعَقَدِيُّ، كِلَاهُمَا عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ جَعْفَرٍ، وَوَافَقَهُ شَبَابةُ عَلَى قَوْلِهِ، فَرَدَّهُ مَرَّتَيْنِ، وَفِي حَدِيثِ أَبِي عَامِرٍ: فَرَدَّهُ مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثًا
