[4742] 29 - (...) It was narrated from Ibn Ḥumaid As-Sāʿidī that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ appointed a man in charge of the Sadaqah (Zakāt), and he brought a large number of things, and he started saying: "This is for you, and this was given to me..." and he mentioned a similar report (as no. 4740). Urwah said: "I said to Abū Ḥumaid As-Sāʿidī: 'Did you hear it from the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ?'" He said: 'From his mouth to my ears.'"
29 - (1832) وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ ذَكْوَانَ وَهُوَ أَبُو الزِّنَادِ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، اسْتَعْمَلَ رَجُلًا عَلَى الصَّدَقَةِ، فَجَاءَ بِسَوَادٍ كَثِيرٍ، فَجَعَلَ يَقُولُ: هَذَا لَكُمْ، وَهَذَا أُهْدِيَ إِلَيَّ، فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ، قَالَ عُرْوَةُ: فَقُلْتُ لِأَبِي حُمَيْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ: أَسَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ فَقَالَ: «مِنْ فِيهِ إِلَى أُذُنِي»
