[4783] 50 - (...) Shu'bah said: "Al-Ash'ath bin Qais pulled him aside and the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ said: "Listen and obey, for on them be their burden and on you will be your burden."

50 - (1846) وحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا شَبَابةُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ مِثْلَهُ، وَقَالَ: فَجَذَبَهُ الْأَشْعَثُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «اسْمَعُوا وَأَطِيعُوا، فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيْهِمْ مَا حُمِّلُوا وَعَلَيْكُمْ مَا حُمِّلْتُمْ»
