English translation
[4888] 124 - (...) It was narrated from Ibn Shihâb with this chain of narration (a Hadîth similar to no. 4887). He said: “A man in a mountain pass,” and he did not say, “then a man.”

124 - (1888) وحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدَّارِمِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ، فَقَالَ: «وَرَجُلٌ فِي شِعْبٍ»، وَلَمْ يَقُلْ: ثُمَّ رَجُلٌ
