English translation
[5007] 23 - (1936) It was narrated from Ibn Shihâb that Abû Idrîs told him that Abû Tha'labah said: "The Messenger of Allâh ﷺ prohibited the meat of domesticated donkeys."

23 - (1936) وحَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْحُلْوَانِيُّ، وَعَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، كِلَاهُمَا عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ صَالِحٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَنَّ أَبَا إِدْرِيسَ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا ثَعْلَبَةَ، قَالَ: «حَرَّمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لُحُومَ الْحُمُرِ الْأَهْلِيَّةِ»
