[5012] 28 - (1938) It was narrated that 'Adiyy bin Thâbit said: "I heard Al-Barâ' and 'Abdullâh bin Abî Awfâ say: 'We got some donkeys and cooked them, then the caller of the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ cried out saying: "Overturn the cooking pots."'
٢٨ - (١٩٣٨) حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ. حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي. حدثنا شعبة بن عَدِيٍّ (وَهُوَ ابْنُ ثَابِتٍ). قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْبَرَاءَ وَعَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى يقولان: أَصَبْنَا حُمُرًا، فَطَبَخْنَاهَا. فَنَادَى مُنَادِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى الله عليه وسلم. اكفؤا القدور.
