English translation

[5175] 37 - (...) Thumâmah bin Hazn Al-Qushairî said: "I met 'Aishah and asked her about Nabîdh. She told me that the delegation of 'Abdul-Qais came to the Prophet ﷺ and they asked the Prophet ﷺ about Nabîdh. He forbade them to make Nabîdh in gourds, An-Naqîr, Al-Muzaffat and Al-Hantam."

37 - (1995) حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ فَرُّوخَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْفَضْلِ، حَدَّثَنَا ثُمَامَةُ بْنُ حَزْنٍ الْقُشَيْرِيُّ، قَالَ: لَقِيتُ عَائِشَةَ، فَسَأَلْتُهَا عَنِ النَّبِيذِ، فَحَدَّثَتْنِي أَنَّ وَفْدَ عَبْدِ الْقَيْسِ قَدِمُوا عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَسَأَلُوا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ النَّبِيذِ، «فَنَهَاهُمْ أَنْ يَنْتَبِذُوا فِي الدُّبَّاءِ وَالنَّقِيرِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ وَالْحَنْتَمِ»
