English translation

[5300] 133 - (2033) It was narrated from Jâbir that the Prophet ﷺ enjoined licking one's fingers and (wiping) the plate, and he said: "You do not know in which part the blessing is."

133 - (2033) وحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَ بِلَعْقِ الْأَصَابِعِ وَالصَّحْفَةِ، وَقَالَ: «إِنَّكُمْ لَا تَدْرُونَ فِي أَيِّهِ الْبَرَكَةُ»
