English translation

[55] It was narrated that Abū Yaḥyā Al-Ḥimṣanī said: “Qabiṣah and his brother narrated us that they heard Al-Jarrāh bin Malīḥ say: ‘I heard Jābir bin Yazīd say: “I have seventy thousand Aḥādīth, all from Abū Ja‘far from the Prophet ﷺ.”’

Arabic text

وحَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ الْحُلْوَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ، وَأَخُوهُ، أَنَّهُمَا سَمِعَا الْجَرَّاحَ بْنَ مَلِيحٍ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ جَابِرًا يَقُولُ: «عِنْدِي سَبْعُونَ أَلْفَ حَدِيثٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كُلُّهَا»

    [1] The return to this life after death (reincarnation), and before the Day of Judgement. It is either regarding 'Alī, may Allāh be pleased with him, or the Shī'ī claim that the Mahdī is alive and shall return.
