English translation
[5822] 126 - (2231) It wasnarrated from 'Amr bin Ash-Sharidthat his father said: "Among thedelegation of Thaḡīf there was aleper. The Prophet ﷺ sent word tohim saying: 'We have acceptedyour oath of allegiance; now goback.'"

126 - (2231) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، وَهُشَيْمُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الشَّرِيدِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: كَانَ فِي وَفْدِ ثَقِيفٍ رَجُلٌ مَجْذُومٌ، فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «إِنَّا قَدْ بَايَعْنَاكَ فَارْجِعْ»
