English translation

[600] 52 - (259) It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Prophet ﷺ said: “Trim the moustache and let the beard grow.”

52 - (259) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعِيدٍ ح، وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنَ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، جَمِيعًا عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «أَحْفُوا الشَّوَارِبَ وَأَعْفُوا اللِّحَى»
