English translation

[6217] 30 - (2404) It was narrated from 'Āmir bin Sa'd bin Abī Waqqāsh that his father said: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said to 'Alī: 'You are to me like Hārūn to Mūsâ, except that there is no Prophet after me.” Sa’eed said: “I wanted to hear it directly from Sa’d, so I met Sa’d and told him what ‘Amīr had narrated to me, and he said: ‘I heard it.’ I said: ‘Did you hear it?’ He put his fingers on his ears and said: ‘Yes, otherwise let them become deaf.’”
