English translation

[637] 84 - (275) It was narrated from Bilâl that the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ wiped over his Khuff and Khimâr.

84 - (275) وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ح، وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ، أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، كِلَاهُمَا عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ، عَنْ بِلَالٍ: «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَسَحَ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ وَالْخِمَارِ». وَفِي حَدِيثِ عِيسَى، حَدَّثَنِي الْحَكَمُ، حَدَّثَنِي بِلَالٌ. وَحَدَّثَنِيهِ سُوَيْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُسْهِرٍ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ وَقَالَ فِي الْحَدِيثِ: رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
