English translation

[6942] 95 - (2738) It was narrated that Abû At-Tayyâh said: "Muṭarrif bin 'Abdullâh had two wives, and he came from the house of one of them, and the other one said: 'Have you come from the house of so-and-so?' He said: 'I have come from the house of 'Imrân bin Huṣain, and he told us that the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ said: "The fewest of the people of Paradise are women."

95 - (2738) حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ، قَالَ: كَانَ لِمُطَرِّفِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ امْرَأَتَانِ، فَجَاءَ مِنْ عِنْدِ إِحْدَاهُمَا، فَقَالَتِ الْأُخْرَى: جِئْتَ مِنْ عِنْدِ فُلَانَةَ؟ فَقَالَ: جِئْتُ مِنْ عِنْدِ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، فَحَدَّثَنَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «إِنَّ أَقَلَّ سَاكِنِي الْجَنَّةِ النِّسَاءُ»،
