English translation

[7014] 51 - (...) It was narrated from Abû Burdah from his father that the Prophet ﷺ said: "On the Day of Resurrection some Muslim people will come with sins like mountains, but Allâh will forgive them and will place them (the sins) on the Jews and the Christians" as far as I reckon. Abû Rawh said: "I do not know who is the one who was uncertain." Abû Burdah said: "I narrated that to 'Umar bin 'Abdul-'Azîz and he said: 'Did your father narrate that to you from the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ?' I said: 'Yes.'"

٥١ - (٢٧٦٧) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَبَّادِ بْنِ جَبَلَةَ بْنِ أَبِي رَوَّادٍ. حَدَّثَنَا حَرَمِيُّ بْنُ عمارة. حدثنا شداد، أبو طلحة الراسبي عَنْ غَيْلَانَ بْنِ جَرِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وسلم قال "يجيء الناس يوم القيامة، ناس من المسلمين، بذنوب أمثال الجبال. فيغفرها الله لهم. ويضعها على اليهود والنصارى" فيما أحسب أنا. قال أبو روح: لا أدري ممن الشك. قال أبو بردة: فحدثت به عمر بن عبد العزيز فقال: أبوك حدثك هذا عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم؟ قلت نعم.
