English translation

[7280] 36 - (...) Al-Mustawrid Al-Qurashî said: "I heard the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ say: 'The Hour will begin when the Byzantines are the most prevalent of people.' News of that reached 'Amr bin Al-'Âs, and he said: 'What are these Ahadith that it is said you narrate from the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ?' Al-Mustawrid said to him: "I say that which I heard from the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ." 'Amr said: "As you say that, indeed they are the most patient of people at times of tribulation, and the quickest of people to recover from calamity, and the best of people to their poor and weak."
