[876] 36 - (...) It was narrated from Ibn Shihâb that Maḥmûd bin Ar-Rabî, in whose face the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ sprayed water from their well, that ‘Ubâdah bin As-Sâmît told him, that the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ said: “There is no prayer for the one who does not recite the Umm Al-Qur’ân (Essence of the Qur’ân - Al-Fâtihah).”
37 - (394) حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْحُلْوَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ صَالِحٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَنَّ مَحْمُودَ بْنَ الرَّبِيعِ، الَّذِي مَجَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي وَجْهِهِ مِنْ بِئْرِهِمْ، أَخْبَرَهُ، أَنَّ عُبَادَةَ بْنَ الصَّامِتِ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَا صَلَاةَ لِمَنْ لَمْ يَقْرَأْ بِأُمِّ الْقُرْآنِ» وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَعَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، قَالَا: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ مِثْلَهُ وَزَادَ فَصَاعِدًا
