[890] 50 - (399) Muḥammad bin Ja'far narrated from Shu'bah, who said: "I heard Qatādah narrate, that Anas said: 'I prayed with the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ, and with Abū Bakr, 'Umar and 'Uthmān, and I did not hear any of them reciting Bismillāhir-Raḥmānir-Raḥīm.'"
50 - (399) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَابْنُ بَشَّارٍ، كِلَاهُمَا عَنْ غُنْدَرٍ، قَالَ ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ: " صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَبِي بَكْرٍ، وَعُمَرَ، وَعُثْمَانَ، فَلَمْ أَسْمَعْ أَحَدًا مِنْهُمْ يَقْرَأُ {بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ} [الفاتحة: 1] "
