English translation

[1069] 204 - (...) 'Abdullâh bin Abî Awfâ narrated that the Prophet ﷺ used to say: "Allâhumma lakal-hamdu mil'as- samâ'i wa mil'al-ardī wa mil'a mā shi'ta min shai'in ba'd. Allāhumma! Tahirnī biṭh-thalji, wal-baradi, wal-mâ'il-bârid. Allāhumma! Tahirnī minadh-dhunûbi wal-khaṣâyâ kamâ yunaqqath-thawbul-abyadu min al-wasakh (Allāh our Lord, to You be praise, filling the heavens, filling the earth, and filling whatever You will besides that. O Allāh, cleanse me with snow and hail and cool water. O Allāh, cleanse me from sin as a white garment is cleansed of dirt.)"

204 - (476) حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَابْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مَجْزَأَةَ بْنِ زَاهِرٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى، يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ: «اللهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ مِلْءُ السَّمَاءِ، وَمِلْءُ الْأَرْضِ، وَمِلْءُ مَا شِئْتَ مِنْ شَيْءٍ بَعْدُ اللهُمَّ طَهِّرْنِي بِالثَّلْجِ وَالْبَرَدِ، وَالْمَاءِ الْبَارِدِ اللهُمَّ طَهِّرْنِي مِنَ الذُّنُوبِ وَالْخَطَايَا، كَمَا يُنَقَّى الثَّوْبُ الْأَبْيَضُ مِنَ الْوَسَخِ»
