English translation

[1118] 248 - (...) It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Prophet ﷺ used to pray facing his mount. Ibn Numair said: "The Prophet ﷺ prayed facing a camel."

Arabic text

248 - (502) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الْأَحْمَرُ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ: «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُصَلِّي إِلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ» وَقَالَ ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ: «إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى إِلَى بَعِيرٍ»
