English translation

[1398] 182 - (...) It was narrated from Abû Hurairah that the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ said: “This heat is an exhalation from Hell, so wait until it cools down before praying.”

Arabic text

182 - (615) وَحَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «إِنَّ هَذَا الْحَرَّ مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ، فَأَبْرِدُوا بِالصَّلَاةِ»
