Text and translation

English translation

[1414] 197 - (624) It was narrated that Anas bin Mālik said: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ led us in praying ʿAṣr, and when he had finished, a man from Banū Salimah came and said: 'O Messenger of Allāh, we want to slaughter a camel of ours, and we would like you to be present.' He said, 'Yes.' So he set out, and we set out with him, and we found that the camel had not yet been slaughtered. It was slaughtered, then cut into pieces, and some of it was cooked, then we ate, before the sun set."
