English translation
[1415] 198 - (625) Rāfi' bin Khadīj said: "We used to pray'Aṣr with the Messenger of Allāhﷺ, then a camel would beslaughtered and divided into tenparts, then it would be cookedand we would eat cooked meat,before the sun set."

١٩٨ - (٦٢٥) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مِهْرَانَ الرَّازِيُّ. حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ. حَدَّثَنَا الأَوْزَاعِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي النَّجَاشِيِّ. قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَافِعَ بْنَ خَدِيجٍ يَقُولُ: كُنَّا نُصَلِّي الْعَصْرَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ. ثُمَّ تُنْحَرُ الْجَزُورُ. فَتُقْسَمُ عَشَرَ قِسَمٍ. ثُمَّ تُطْبَخُ. فَنَأْكُلُ لَحْمًا نَضِيجًا. قَبْلَ مغيب الشمس.
