English translation

[1535] 292 - (674) It was narrated that Mâlik bin Al-Huwaîrith said: "We came to the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ and we were young men who were close in age, and we stayed with him for twenty nights. The Messenger of Allâh ﷺ was compassionate and kind, and he thought that we were missing our families, so he asked us about those whom we had left behind, and we told him about our families. He said: 'Go back to your families and stay with them; teach them and exhort them. When the time for prayer is due, let one of you call the Adhân and let the oldest of you lead you in prayer.'"
