[1851] 235 - (793) It wasnarrated from 'Abdullâh binBuraidah, that his father said:"The Messenger of Allâh ﷺ said:'Abdullâh bin Qais' - or 'Al-Ash'ari' - has been given abeautiful voice (Mizmâr) like thebeautiful voices (Mazâmîr) of thefamily of Dâwûd."
235 - (793) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، ح وحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ وَهُوَ ابْنُ مِغْوَلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ قَيْسٍ أَو الْأَشْعَرِيَّ أُعْطِيَ مِزْمَارًا مِنْ مَزَامِيرِ آلِ دَاوُدَ»
