English translation

[1910] 277 - (...) Al-A'mash narrated something similar (to no. 1908) with this chain, and he said: "I know the pairs that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ used to recite, two in each Rak'ah, twenty Sūrah in ten Rak'ah.

277 - (822) وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ فِي هَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ بِنَحْوِ حَدِيثِهِمَا، وَقَالَ: إِنِّي لَأَعْرِفُ النَّظَائِرَ الَّتِي كَانَ يَقْرَأُ بِهِنَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اثْنَتَيْنِ فِي رَكْعَةٍ عِشْرِينَ سُورَةً فِي عَشْرِ رَكَعَاتٍ
