English translation

[1919] (...) It was narrated that ‘Alqamah said: “I came to Ash-Shâm and I met Abû Ad-Dardâ’...” and he quoted a Hadîth similar to that of Ibn ‘Ulayyah (no. 1918).

(824) وحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، قَالَ: أَتَيْتُ الشَّامَ فَلَقِيتُ أَبَا الدَّرْدَاءِ، فَذَكَرَ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ عُلَيَّةَ
