[2416] (...) It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said: "I heard the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ say - and I do not know whether it was something that was revealed to him or something that he said - ..." similar to what was narrated by Abū 'Awānah (no. 2415).
(1048) وحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَابْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ: ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: - فَلَا أَدْرِي أَشَيْءٌ أُنْزِلَ أَمْ شَيْءٌ كَانَ يَقُولُهُ - بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ أَبِي عَوَانَةَ
