Gifts Are Permissible For The Prophet ﷺ And Banû Hâshim And Banû Al-Muṭṭalib, Even If The Giver Acquired It By Way Of Charity. When The Recipient Takes Possession Of Charity, It Is No Longer Described As Charity, And It Is Permissible For Anyone For Whom Charity Is Otherwise Unlawful

English translation

[2487] 172 - (...) It was narrated that 'Aishah [may Allâh be pleased with her] said: "Three rulings were issued with regard to Barîrah. The people used to give her charity, and she would give it to us as gifts. I mentioned that to the Prophet ﷺ and he said: 'It is charity for her and a gift for you, so eat it.'"
