[2567] 58 - (...) It was narrated that Abū Hurairah [may Allāh be pleased with them] said: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: 'Do not perform Wiṣāl.' They said: 'But you perform Wiṣāl, O Messenger of Allāh.' He said: 'You are not like me in that. During the night, my Lord feeds me and gives me to drink. Take upon yourselves only those deeds that you are capable of.'"
58 - (1103) وحَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، وَإِسْحَاقُ، قَالَ زُهَيْرٌ: حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِيَّاكُمْ وَالْوِصَالَ» قَالُوا: فَإِنَّكَ تُوَاصِلُ، يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، قَالَ: «إِنَّكُمْ لَسْتُمْ فِي ذَلِكَ مِثْلِي، إِنِّي أَبِيتُ يُطْعِمُنِي رَبِّي وَيَسْقِينِي، فَاكْلَفُوا مِنَ الْأَعْمَالِ مَا تُطِيقُونَ»
