English translation

[2691] 152 - (...) It was narrated from Muḥammad bin Ibrâhîm, from Abû Salamah bin 'Abdur- Raḥmān, from ‘Āishah [may Allāh be pleased with her] that she said: “If one of us did not fast [in Ramaḍān] during the time of the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ, she would not be able to make it up with the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ, until Sha‘bān came.”

152 - (1146) وحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ الْمَكِّيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدَّرَاوَرْدِيُّ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْهَادِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ: «إِنْ كَانَتْ إِحْدَانَا لَتُفْطِرُ فِي زَمَانِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَمَا تَقْدِرُ عَلَى أَنْ تَقْضِيَهُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ شَعْبَانُ»
