English translation

[2791] 1 - (1177) It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar [may Allāh be pleased with them] that a man asked the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ: "What clothes may the Muḥrim wear?" The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "Do not wear shirts, turbans, trousers, burnoos or Khuff, except for one who cannot find sandals, in which case he may wear Khuff but he should cut them (so that they come) lower than the ankles. And do not wear any clothes that have been dyed with saffron or Wars.""
