English translation

[2806] 14 - (...) It was narrated from Sālim bin ‘Abdullāh bin ‘Umar bin Al-Khaṭṭāb [may Allāh be pleased with them] that his father said: “I heard the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ say: ‘The Miqāt for the people of Al-Madīnah is Dhul-Hulaifah, the Miqāt for the people of Ash-Shām is Mahya‘ah - which is Al-Juhfah - and the Miqāt for the people of Najd is Qarn.’” ‘Abdullāh bin ‘Umar [may Allāh be pleased with them] said: “And they said that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said - although I did not hear that from him: ‘And the Miqāt for the people of Yemen is Yalamlam.’”

14 - (1182) وحَدَّثَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «مُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذُو الْحُلَيْفَةِ، وَمُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الشَّامِ مَهْيَعَةُ، وَهِيَ الْجُحْفَةُ، وَمُهَلُّ أَهْلِ نَجْدٍ قَرْنٌ» قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا: وَزَعَمُوا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَلَمْ أَسْمَعْ ذَلِكَ مِنْهُ - قَالَ: «وَمُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ يَلَمْلَمُ»
