[2856] 61 - (...) It was narrated from 'Uthmân bin 'Abdullâh bin Mawhab with this chain (a Ĥadîth similar to no. 2855). According to the report of Shaibân: "The Messenger of Allâh ﷺ said: 'Did any of you tell him to catch it, or gesture to him?" According to the report of Shu'bah he said: "Did you suggest it to him or help him to tell him to catch it?" Shu'bah said: "I do not know if he said: 'Did you help him' - or 'did you tell him to catch it?'"
61 - (1196) وحَدَّثَنَاه مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، ح وحَدَّثَنِي الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ، عَنْ شَيْبَانَ، جَمِيعًا عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَوْهَبٍ، بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ فِي رِوَايَةِ شَيْبَانَ، فَقَالَ: رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «أَمِنْكُمْ أَحَدٌ أَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَحْمِلَ عَلَيْهَا أَوْ أَشَارَ إِلَيْهَا؟» وَفِي رِوَايَةِ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ: «أَشَرْتُمْ أَوْ أَعَنْتُمْ أَوْ أَصَدْتُمْ؟» قَالَ شُعْبَةُ: لَا أَدْرِي، قَالَ: «أَعَنْتُمْ» أَوْ «أَصَدْتُمْ»
