English translation

[2877] 80 - (1201) It was narrated that Ka'b bin 'Ujrah [may Allāh be pleased with them] said: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ came to me at the time of Al-Hudaybiyah while I was lighting a fire under a kettle or pot, and lice were crawling over my face. He said: 'Are these vermin on your head bothering you?' I said: 'Yes.' He said: 'Shave your head, and fast for three days, or feed six poor persons, or offer a sacrifice.'" Ayyūb said: "I do not know with which of them he started."
