English translation

[2938] (...) Jābir bin 'Abdullāh [may Allāh be pleased with them] said: "The Prophet ﷺ entered upon 'Aishah [may Allāh be pleased with her] and found her weeping..." and he mentioned a Hadīth like that of Al-Laith (no. 2937), to the end, but he did not mention what came before this of the Hadīth of Al-Laith.

(1213) وحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، وَعَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ - قَالَ ابْنُ حَاتِمٍ: حَدَّثَنَا، وَقَالَ عَبْدٌ: - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا، يَقُولُ: دَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا، وَهِيَ تَبْكِي، فَذَكَرَ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ اللَّيْثِ إِلَى آخِرِهِ، وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ مَا قَبْلَ هَذَا مِنْ حَدِيثِ اللَّيْثِ.
