English translation

[2948] (...) Qatâdah narrated it with this chain (a Hadîth similar to no. 2947), and he said in the Hadîth: "Separate your Hajj from your Umrah, for that is most proper for your Hajj, and most proper for your Umrah."

Arabic text

(1217) وحَدَّثَنِيهِ زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ، وَقَالَ فِي الْحَدِيثِ: فَافْصِلُوا حَجَّكُمْ مِنْ عُمْرَتِكُمْ، فَإِنَّهُ أَتَمُّ لِحَجِّكُمْ، وَأَتَمُّ لِعُمْرَتِكُمْ
