English translation

[3072] (...) 'Abdur-Rahmān narrated from Sufyān with this chain (a Hadīth similar to no. 3071). He said: "But I saw Abū Al-Qāsim ﷺ showing great interest in you," and he did not mention clinging to it.

(1271) وحَدَّثَنِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ قَالَ: وَلَكِنِّي رَأَيْتُ أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِكَ حَفِيًّا وَلَمْ يَقُلْ وَالْتَزَمَهُ
