English translation
[3341] 479 - (1375) It was narrated that Sahl bin Hunaif said: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ pointed with his hand towards Al-Madīnah and said: 'It is a secure sanctuary.'"

479 - (1375) وحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، عَنِ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، عَنْ يُسَيْرِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ، قَالَ: أَهْوَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِيَدِهِ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ، فَقَالَ: «إِنَّهَا حَرَمٌ آمِنٌ»
