[3342] 480 - (1376) It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "We came to Al-Madīnah and it was filled with an epidemic. Abū Bakr fell sick and Bilāl fell sick. When the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ saw that his Companions were getting sick, he said: 'O Allāh, make Al-Madīnah dear to us as you made Makkah dear, and more so. Make it healthy and bless us in its Ṣā' and Mudd, and transfer its fever to Al-Juhfah.'"
480 - (1376) وحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: قَدِمْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ وَهِيَ وَبِيئَةٌ، فَاشْتَكَى أَبُو بَكْرٍ، وَاشْتَكَى بِلَالٌ، فَلَمَّا رَأَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ شَكْوَى أَصْحَابِهِ، قَالَ: «اللهُمَّ حَبِّبْ إِلَيْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ كَمَا حَبَّبْتَ مَكَّةَ أَوْ أَشَدَّ، وَصَحِّحْهَا، وَبَارِكْ لَنَا فِي صَاعِهَا وَمُدِّهَا، وَحَوِّلْ حُمَّاهَا إِلَى الْجُحْفَةِ»،
